Animé depuis son plus jeune âge par la passion de la nature, le peintre animalier belge Yves Fagniart, né à Albertville ex Zaire- RDC en 1959,diplomé en agronomie, pratique l'art naturaliste depuis plusieurs années. Son mode d'expression favori est l'aquarelle. L'originalité de ce peintre réside dans son approche naturaliste et sa transcription des ambiances dans la nature. Ses aquarelles sont un alliage de lumière, d'atmosphère et d'amour de faune sauvage, où l'animal et le biotope ont autant d'importance l'un que l'autre. Pour ce faire, il sillonne divers espaces naturels en Europe et en Afrique. Les Œuvres de Yves Fagniart sont reconnues internationalement et sont exposées régulièrement dans différents pays. Elles sont le reflet de son engagement pour la protecton de l'environnement. The Black-tailed Godwit is one example of a bird on the move, for which AEWA has been providing the necessary framework for international cooperation along the African-Eurasian Flyways since its conclusion in 1995. This AEWA species was chosen to be the focus of the book because the population of the nominate race is declining dramatically. An International Single Species Action Plan, outlining the conservation of the Black-tailed Godwit, was adopted under AEWA in 2008. The book features more than 80 paintings depicting a diverse selection of habitats and threats in a choice of the 62 countries hosting Black-tailed Godwits along the birds? migration route. They are the results of Yves Fagniart???s observations on his journey along parts of this flyway. The Belgian wildlife painter followed the birds to their habitats during their migration and, through his drawings and paintings, documented the unique beauty of this species in its different settings. The paintings, which originated in several countries such as Iceland, Sweden, the Netherlands, France, Morocco and Senegal, represent the birds at some of their breeding, staging and wintering sites. In this book, the artist captures the beauty of the birds??? wetland habitats in the countries he visited. He also portrays the threats the birds face during the various stages of migration.

Terre d'eau et de rivières ondulant à travers un paysage bucolique,

entre moulin St Denis et vignoble, ce sixième territoire est aussi celui des fantômes. Depuis qu'un historien local a traduit du latin le récit d'un jeune moine ayant fréquenté un spectre au XVIIe, tout le monde voit des fantômes partout.

Exceptionnellement, ouverture de la chapelle de Saint Antoine en Barbefosse. Dans le bois d'Havré, se trouve une sorte de cuvette nommée Barbefosse. Le sire d'Havré, Gérard d'Enghien reçut en 1389 l'autorisation du pape d'y bâtir une chapelle achevée en 1420, car on y enterra le fils du fondateur. L'ordre de chevalerie de Saint-Antoine en Barbefosse y avait son siège et les chevaliers y recevaient le collier avec le tau (T) et la clochette.
