Paris – Pont Alexandre-III

Globe-T. @ Paris (France). Le Pont Alexandre-III a été construit à l’occasion de l’Exposition Universelle de 1900 à Paris. Il doit son nom au Tsar Alexandre III qui conclut avec le Président français Sadi Carnot l’Alliance Franco-Russe (1891-1893).

Globe-T. @ Paris (France). The Pont Alexandre-III (‘Alexander III Bridge’) was built on the occasion of the World Fair of 1900 in Paris. It is named after Tsar Alexander III, who had concluded the Franco-Russian Alliance with French President Sadi Carnot (1891-1893).
