TRAVEL - LISBON PORTUGAL{ DAY 1 }Olà !Pour mon anniversaire en novembre dernier, mon chéri a eu la super bonne idée de m'offrir un weekend de trois jours à Lisbonne auPortugal. L'avantage d'y aller à cette période, c'est qu'on y trouve un climat très doux la journée, allant même jusqu'à 20/25°C. De plus nous avons été chanceux car on a eu un très beau soleil tous les jours. À seulement deux heures et demi de vol de Paris, c'est une destination idéal pour fuir la grisaille parisienne quelques jours en amoureux, à petits prix. J'ai trouvé la ville charmante et dépaysante, avec ces azulejos colorés qui égayent les façades, et ces rues étroites pavées et vallonnées. D'ailleurs je déconseille fortement de porter des talons car les pavés sont posés de façon très aléatoire, et les rues sont toutes en pentes (ou même carrément avec des bosses et des creux!). Si vous aimez marcher c'est une ville où l'on peut faire beaucoup de choses à pied. Nous avons débuté notre première journée dans le quartier d'Alfama en dégustant une délicieuse pasteis de nata (un petit flan lové dans une pâte feuilletée, à tester absolument).Puis nous avons visité le célèbre Castelo Sao Georges qui offre un panorama à 360° sur la ville, une vue sur le pont du 25 avril (qui ressemble au Golden Bridge de San Francisco), une jolie balade dans la forteresse en ruine, et notamment un petit jardin avec des paons. Pour le déjeuner, nous sommes redescendus à pied en direction du Tage et avons choisi de nous arrêter au Miradoro Santa Luzia pour sa terrasse avec vue sur le fleuve (oui oui en terrasse fin novembre). Nous avons pu apprécier la cuisine typique portugaise, comme la soupe de légumes d'automne ultra bonne, et les savoureuses sardines à l'huile, servies de façon généreuse ! En effet quatre grosses sardines entières, personnellement c'est trop pour moi ! Sachez qu'il est possible de commander des demi-plats pour les petites faim. Après une petite balade au belvédère Santa Luzia et un café au Terraço Santa Luzia que je recommande pour sa vue en hauteur, nous avons ensuite pris le funiculaire (à faire pour le fun et le côté pratique) pour atteindre le belvédère de São Pedro de Alcântara, endroit parfaitement romantique pour boire un verre au kiosque en admirant le coucher du soleil sur la ville.Je recommande aussi d'aller boire un verre sur la terrasse du toit de l'hôtel Bairro Alto, avec encore une vue imprenable sur Lisbonne.Je vous retrouve très vite pour de nouveaux looks et la suite en détail de mon weekend à Lisbonne où je vous parlerai d'autres quartiers et de notre hôtel.xx Emilie
Olà !For my birthday last November, my sweetheart had the great idea to give me a three-day trip to Lisbon, Portugal.The advantage of going during this period is that there’s a really calm climate during the day, which can even go up to 20 or 25 degrees Celsius. Also, we were extremely lucky because we had sunny weather every single day!Only a two-and-a-half hour flight from Paris, it’s an ideal destination to get away from the gray Parisian weather for a few lovely days, at just a small financial cost.I found the city charming and wonderful, with its colorful azulejos that drape the façades, and the small paved, winding streets. I would definitely say don’t wear high heels because the streets are paved a bit randomly, and are extremely bumpy! If you like walking, this is a city where we can do so much on-foot.
We started off our first day in the Alfama neighbourhood, eating a delicious pasteis de nata (a small flan in pastry dough, which you really should all try).Then we also visited the famous Castelo Sao Georges which offers a 360-degree panorama of the city, a view on the bridge of April 25^th (which looks like the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco), a lovely walk in the ruins of the fortress, and also a small garden with peacocks.For lunch, we went down on foot heading towards Tage and chose to stop at the Miradoro Santa Luzia because of its beautiful terrace with a view on the river (yep, a terrace at the end of November)!We got to taste the wonderful Portuguese cooking, like the lovely autumn vegetable soup, as well as the savory sardines in oil, served in a very generous fashion! Four huge sardines, personally that’s too much for me! You can also order half-plates for smaller appetites.After a small walk in the Santa Luzia belvedere and a coffee at the Terraço Santa Luzia which I highly recommend for its beautiful view, we then took the funicular (which is fun and practical) to get up to the belvedere de Sao Pedro de Alcantara, a perfectly romantic place to have a drink at the kiosk while admiring the sunset go down on the city.I also recommend going to drink by the terrace of the Hotel Bairro Alto, with another impressive view of Lisbon.I’ll see you all soon for more looks and the next part of my weekend in Lisbon, where I’ll talk to you all about other neighbourhoods and our hotel.xxEmilie
