London, UK:

Yesterday, Tuesday 18th July, LA-based denim label J Brand and iconic British fashion designer Bella Freud hosted an intimate garden tea party to celebrate the launch of the J Brand x Bella Freud capsule collection.

Bella celebrated alongside friends and family, including Alison Mosshart, Laura Bailey, Sheherazade Goldsmith, Billie JD Porter, Jordan Stephens, Jess Morris, Vanina Sorrenti, James Fox, Birdy, Scarlett Curtis and Charlie Siddick, who were welcomed into a whimsical English garden scene, complete with Shetland pony rides, a lucky dip and hula hooping, with a DJ set by Neville Hyde.

Guests dined on yellow tail ceviche tostadas, seasonal small bowls of salads and charcuterie, all provided by TART London. To drink, guests enjoyed Nyetimber sparkling wine, cucumber gin coolers, homemade pink lemonade and English Breakfast tea.

The J Brand x Bella Freud capsule collection will be available across global locations at the end of July, with early access on jbrandjeans.com & bellafreud.com on July 19th. The collection is comprised of 17 iconic pieces offered in various styles - including denim jeans, jackets, skirts and a limited-edition jumpsuit (available exclusively on jbrandjeans.com & bellafreud.com), t-shirts and cashmere and merino wool knits. The low-rise, relaxed straight leg fit and high-waisted tailored wide-leg silhouette embodies Bella Freud's favourite denim fits from the 70's and are a nod to her tomboy youth. Statement "word" sweaters create juxtaposition to the tough denim, giving it a fierce self-possessed attitude. The collection combines both the Bella Freud spirit and aesthetic with J Brand's denim expertise.
