Bally Autumn/Winter 2020 Collection
Purity of Form
Featuring the new season collection, entitled Purity of Form; clean lines, organic materials and neutral tones reflect Bally's long-standing respect for the environment and passion for design innovation, fusing Swiss heritage with a modern outlook. Soft shapes and sculptural silhouettes express the integrity and multitude of form. Constructed from the shoe up, looks are built to endure, merging natural colorways with heritage craftsmanship, textured materials and fluid lines. One by one, classic, sartorial configurations reveal themselves, elegant, elemental and most of all free. Gestural, abstract prints, inspired by turn-of-the-century modernist art from Europe, marry archival Swiss textile patterns by Abraham Ltd., in a mélange that is effortlessly unexpected. Artful accessories and handbags own graphic dimensions and honor newfound signature house hardware.

Accessories and shoes see unlined and waterproof sartorial-effect nylons, B-chain jacquards, croc-embossed matte leather and hardware highlights, like the 1851.
COLOR
A foundation of monochromatic black and chalk white is complemented with neutral bone and dove gray. Color is introduced in rich autumnal shades of deep shiraz, sunburn orange and golden ambra across retro-inspired prints and bold block colors.
Kaleidoscope
Bally introduces its Autumn/Winter 2020 collection through the sensory art of performance, Kaleidoscope; an immersive installation enhancing the seasonal message through subtle choreography, combining movement, film and sound to explore different perspectives, through the ever-changing synthesis of natural elements. A tunnel in black and white graphic preludes the experience reflecting the collection's signature motif. The installation awaits you: roles are reversed as guests traverse the runway, while a crowd moves in the opposite direction, curiously alluding to the importance of understanding our place in nature. A celebration of the beauty and power of water and our intrinsic relationship to the oceans, rain and ice, culminates in a storm before giving way to the cyclically calm that follows. The pace of the performance slows, allowing a time for renewal: the warmth of the sun and the balm of crystal clear water that gathers in mountain valleys, before running through rivers to the sea. Kaleidoscope underpins the values of Bally. Light filters in, illuminating standout silhouettes of models outfitted in the new collection, where craftsmanship, quality and advanced tailoring are designed to stand the test of time. A series of optical crystal prisms inspired by alpine glaciers focus attention and magnify detail in footwear and accessories. The installation is an opportunity to see things from a myriad of viewpoints; proposing a lifestyle that is sensitive and aware of its place in the world.
