Une fois n’est pas coutume je vous présente aujourd’hui les magnifiques figurines de chez Hot Toys distribuées par Deriv’Store et plus particulièrement la figurine d’Iron Patriot Endgame. Elle est d’ailleurs en promotion sur le site : https://www.derivstore.com/produit/figurine-hot-toys-iron-patriot-endgame/

Voici tout d’abord un Unboxing où vous pourrez voir la qualité de l’envoi d’un colis pour une figurine de ce type. Elle fait partie de la collection Movie Masterpiece Series Diecast.

Une fois sortie de l’écrin qui la protège parfaitement voici donc la figurine :-). Elle mesure environ 32 centimètres et elle pèse son poids, environ 1,4 kg en fonction de l’équipement que vous utilisez, mais comptez 3,1 kg pour la boîte. Il m’aura fallu quelques minutes de montage pour arriver à ce résultat :-). La figurine est articulée à de multiples endroits : épaules, coudes, poignets et doigts pour l’une des 3 paires de mains, ainsi que la hanche, les jambes, les genoux et chevilles. Les épaulettes de l’armure sont également articulées tout comme les éléments avant et arrière au-dessus du pieds. Certains éléments peuvent parfois rentrer en collision, prenez garde à ne pas trop forcer.

Avant le montage, j’ai mis les 3 piles plates dans les différents emplacements : avant-bras droit et gauche, dans la partie dorsale supérieure et dans le crâne. Alors pourquoi des piles ?  Il y a différents éclairage LEDs. Pour le crâne il suffit simplement de retirer la petite plaque en métal pour accéder au compartiment des piles ainsi qu’à l’interrupteur on/off afin que les yeux s’éclairent.

Les piles et les petits outils sont bien entendu fournis : tournevis et pince. Le plus délicat a été de retirer le cache sur les 2 avant-bras. Ils s’enlèvent par l’extrémité, une partie est légèrement relevée. La pince est bien pratique pour manipuler et insérer les piles. Cette opération est minutieuse mais absolument pas insurmontable :-). Une fois actionné le centre de la main s’éclairera.

Les détails, la finition sont vraiment de très grande qualité. Retrouvez 3 paires de main, celles de gauche (Cf. photo ci-dessous) sont articulées, celles au centre ont des doigts en caoutchouc, et celles de droite sont rigide avec le poing fermé. Les 3 paires de main ont une LED en leur centre.

Différentes armes sont proposées vous pourrez les changer à votre guise aussi bien sur les avant-bras que dans la partie dorsale. Le tout est rangé sous la partie polystyrène dans laquelle se trouve la figurine (voir unboxing ;-)). La tige noire est à fixer au socle et permettra de maintenir la figurine en sécurité.

Ainsi que le socle, les armes de choc, la petite boîte avec les outils et piles ainsi que le crochet qui se fixe à l’extrémiste de la tige afin de maintenir la figurine sur le socle.

Pour installer ces lance-missiles il vous faudra retirer les caches dorsaux sous lesquels est écrit DANGER. Au centre, là où il y a comme un H, j’ai enlevé un autre cache afin de pouvoir insérer le Canon.

Comme vous pouvez l’apercevoir il y a 2 têtes : l’une casquée avec la possibilité d’allumer les yeux et l‘autre représentant la tête de l’acteur incarnant Iron Patriot dans les films Avengers. Pour ma part, j’ai une préférence pour la tête casquée. Pour la photo ci-dessous j’en ai également profité pour changer les armes aux avant-bras. Le plastron peut aussi se retirer.

A l’arrière de la figurine, au niveau du dos, vous pouvez placer 2 pièces aimantées qui accueilleront ensuite les 2 canons ou les lance-missiles.

La qualité est au rendez-vous, la figurine est vraiment impressionnante. En amont le design 3D est effectué par ordinateur, le moulage en métal est fabriqué pour le PVC et la peinture/finition sont faites à la main. Le plus long étant l’attente entre l’ouverture des précommandes et la mise au départ de la production chinoise, cela peut prendre entre 1 et 2 ans en raison d’un calendrier de production très chargé. La production est ensuite réalisée en dizaine de milliers d’exemplaires, et ce en quelques semaines.

Elles sont vraiment ressemblantes et d’une très grande qualité. Côté envoi il n’y a rien à craindre, le tout est bien protégé.
