Follow you fait partie du cinquième album studio du groupe, Mercury - Acts 1 & 2. Il a été écrit par les membres du groupe Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee et Daniel Platzman, aux côtés de Joel Little, Michelle Medellin-White, et produit par Michelle Medellin-White. Follow you a été inspiré par la relation du chanteur Dan Reynolds avec sa femme Aja Volkman. Le titre est sorti à la fin du printemps 2021

Le groupe américain Imagine Dragons est originaire de Las Vegas. Ils se sont formés en 2008. A l'origine du groupe Dan Reynolds, le leader du groupe, et le batteur Andrew Tolman . Ils sont rejoints par Ben McKee, Andrew Tolman et Brittany Tolman.

Le groupe est composé aujourd'hui de 4 membres. Chaque membre du groupe est polyvalent mais toutefois spécialisé dans un domaine : le chant pour Dan Reynolds, la guitare pour Wayne Simon, la basse pour Ben McKee, la batterie et les percussions pour Daniel Platzman.
