They're back! Three years after 3, their debut album (and their two first EPs 1 and 2), The Suburban kids with biblical names keeps on learning how to count : theirnext EP, (obviously) named 4, will be out on the 4th of February (preorder it here). First excerpt : 1999.
The fun touch is still there (what about this dog barking sample?), the Brazilian influence still there as well. So what's up with the SKWBN? Let's say 1999 is more danse oriented than their usual songs. Basically, this is what a drunk Jens Lekman in bermuda shorts could sing, if he was lost on a desert island.

Ils sont de retour ! Trois ans après 3, leur premier album, (sorti à la suite des premiers EPs 1 et 2), The Suburban kids with biblical names continuent d'apprendre à compter : leur prochain EP, (évidemment) intitulé 4, sortira le 4 février prochain (commandez-le ici). Premier extrait : 1999.
La touche "fun" est toujours là (c'est bien le sample d'un chien qui aboie que j'entends là ?), l'influence brésilienne, toujours là aussi. Alors, quoi de neuf avec les SKWBN ? Disons que 1999 est plus dansant que leurs morceaux habituels. C'est en gros ce que pourrait chanter un Jens Lekman en bermudas, complètement bourré sur une île déserte.
