I did like Backslick. As I wrote here or there, their songs were melodic and sharp.
The Monument is Backslick 2.0 : it's the same band with a new name, a new EP and a new sound. A little bit too calm and "clean" for me, but their sense of melody remains. If I'm not really into their ballads (like Trust), I find Journey to joy quite catchy. I'll keep an eye on them then.

J'aimais beaucoup Backslick. Comme je l'écrivais ici ou là, leurs chansons étaient mélodiques et très efficaces.
The Monument est Backslick 2.0 : il s'agit du même groupe avec un nouveau nom, un nouvel EP et un nouveau son. Un peu trop calme et "propre" pour moi, mais leur sens de la mélodie demeure. Si je n'accroche pas vraiment à leurs ballades (comme Trust), je trouve Journey to joy plutôt accrocheur. Je garderai donc un oeil sur eux.
