Signé de l'architecte français Christian de Portzamparc, ce grand vaisseau de 3 600 mètres carrés à Louvain-la-Neuve (proche banlieue de Bruxelles) présente l'oeuvre d'Hergé : planches inédites, publicité et objets personnels du créateur de Tintin. Le musée Hergé dispose d'une librairie, et d'un restaurant nommé le petit 20 ème en hommage au supplément jeunesse du journal le « Vingtième siècle » qui a publié pour la première fois les aventures du célèbre reporter Tintin.
