Nouvelle chanson / new song – sade – still in love with you

SADE EST DE RETOUR AVEC UN ALBUM BEST-OF ET UN TITRE INÉDIT : “STILL IN LOVE WITH YOU”

Sade revient sur le devant de la scène avec la présentation du premier titre inédit des quatre chansons figurant sur le deuxième album best of du groupe britannique. “Still In Love With You” est donc le premier extrait officiel du best-of “The Ultimate Collection”, un double disque dont la sortie est prévue en mai. Il s’agit d’une reprise du titre du groupe de Hard Rock irlandais Thin Lizzy datant de 1974. Check it out :

Sade is back with a new Best Of album, the second one in the British group’s career, entitled “The Ultimate Collection”. The first single off that compilation is an unreleased acoustic song called “Still In Love With You”, which is actually a cover of a 1974 song by Irish Hard Rock band Thin Lizzy. Check it out :

Sade stays faithful to their trademark melancolic type of songs, with singer Sade Adu‘s exquisite voice floating effortlessly on the notes of a guitar. Sade’s voice has this kind of deep sadness attached to its tone, and don’t need any vocal prowesses to do wonders. This song should delight Sade’s fans, but won’t probably do anything for those resistants to their musical style. Still, this song doesn’t even come close to the wonderful “Moon And The Sky”, which will appear on the new compilation in a brand new version featuring the one and only Jay-Z. I have to say, I absolutely need this version in my life ASAP.

Sade reste fidèle à son style mélancolique et très mélodique, avec la voix aérienne de sa chanteuse Sade Adu qui flotte avec aisance sur les notes d’une guitare. La voix de Sade a cette espèce de tristesse profonde et touchante qui émane de son timbre, et qui n’a besoin d’aucunes acrobaties ou de prouesses vocales pour faire de l’effet. Cette chanson devrait ravir les amateurs de Sade, mais ne parviendra certainement pas à toucher un public réfractaire à son style. L’on reste tout de même bien loin de l’excellent “Moon And The Sky”, dont une version inédite en featuring avec Jay-Z figurera sur la compilation “The Ultimate Collection”. J’ai besoin de cette chanson dans ma vie le plus tôt possible.
