Sole & The Skyrider Band - Hello Cruel World

For the past few months I have dropped comments here and there about my new record, and it’s been really hard to contain my excitement about it. Today we make our initial announcement about the 3rd lp from sole and the skyrider band “Hello Cruel World.” I think it’s my best album. It marks a completely new direction that I have hinted at through Nuclear Winter, although far less political, better produced and a lot poppier. I called in a lot of my homies, old and new, to pitch in on this project… it features contributions from: Lil B (?????), Sage Francis, Ceschi Ramos, pictureplane, XIUXIU, Noah23, Isaiah Toothtaker and Mestizo from Machina Muerte. It’s mixed in a top-notch studio and is essentially my take on the new movements going on in rap music combined with the classic sole and the skyrider band sensibility.
