10 ans de l'année internationale du bénévolat à Hong Kong

10th Anniversary of the International Year of Volunteers in Hong Kong
Étrange anniversaire célébré cette année par l'administration postale de Hong Kong ??
L'assemblée générale des Nations Unies avait déclaré l'année 2001 Année internationale du bénévolat (ou du volontariat) pour célébrer le volontariat, une voie pour construire le respect, la confiance, la compréhension et la solidarité entre les générations.
On commémore donc cette année le 10ème anniversaire de cette Année internationale du bénévolat, ce que la poste de Hong Kong a donc célébré avec l'émission, le 29 mars 2011, d'une série de 4 timbres.
Deux timbres de cette série figurent sur le joli FDC ci-dessous. Merci beaucoup Trudy :-)
A rather strange anniversary celebrated this year by the postal administration of Hong Kong ??
The United Nations General Assembly had declared 2001 as the International Year of Volunteers to celebrate volunteerism, a way to build respect, trust, understanding and solidarity between generations.
So this year we commemorate the 10th anniversary of this International Year of Volunteers, what the Post of Hong Kong has thus celebrated with the issue, on March 29, 2011, of a series of four stamps.
Two stamps being part of this set appear on the nice official FDC below. Thank you very much Trudy :-)
Le timbre à 1,40$ (non oblitéré ?) évoque une note dans un journal intime évoquant un agréable moment d'un jeune enfant qui a planté des arbres avec sa mère. Le message est ainsi que l'altruisme se développe très tôt chez l'enfant.
L'autre timbre (2,40$) évoque un formulaire pour le recrutement de jeunes bénévoles, affiché sur un blog, pour une association caritative.
Cette série a été imprimée une fois de plus en France par Cartor Security Printing (graphisme par Carl Cheng Chi-ming).
A noter l'intéressant timbre à date "1er jour" en forme de coeur, avec le caractère "I" inclus dans le mot "Bénévolat" en chinois permettant de deviner le message "I love Volunteerism" ("J'aime le bénévolat") !
L'union européenne commémore également ce 10ème anniversaire en déclarant l'année 2011 année européenne du bénévolat (voir timbres de Belgique ou du Luxembourg émis cette année).
The $ 1.40 stamp (not canceled ?) evokes a note on a diary page suggesting a good time for a young child who has planted trees with his mother. The message is thus that altruism takes root during early childhood.
The other stamp ($ 2.40) refers to a young volunteers recruitment leaflet, uploaded on a blog for a community charity event.
This series was printed, once again, in France by Cartor Security Printing (design by Carl Cheng Chi-ming).
To note the interesting FDC heart-shaped postmark, with the character "I" included in the word "Volunteerism" in Chinese allowing to guess the message "I love Volunteerism" !
The European Union also commemorates this 10th anniversary by declaring the year 2011 as the European Year of Volunteers (have a look to stamps from Belgium or Luxembourg issued this year).
