Men of War : bataillons disciplinaires, Vietnam et Ossétie 2008

1C poursuit son travail sur la série Men of War et annonce un nouvel épisode dédié cette fois aux combats menés par les bataillons disciplinaires soviétiques durant la Seconde Guerre Mondiale. Quatre campagnes permettront de jouer un total de 15 missions et pour vous faire une idée de ce que proposera Condemned Heroes, voyez ci-dessous les premières captures d’écrans. Sortie prévue début 2012.

Par la même occasion voici aussi une bande-annonce pour le futur volet dédié à la Guerre du Vietnam, qui devrait arriver courant septembre prochain, du moins pour la version anglaise. Pour plus d’infos, voyez le site officiel.

Dans un registre voisin, sachez aussi que d’autres DLC sont prévus pour MoW Assault Squad et que le producteur de la série réfléchit à un concept massivement multijoueurs.

Enfin BestWay, le studio à l’origine du moteur graphique de Men of War préparerait une déclinaison nommée Tskhinvali Is On Fire (cf. Wikipédia), sur le thème donc de la récente guerre d’Ossétie, conflit ayant opposé la Géorgie et la Russie en 2008. Ce projet ne sera pas forcément rattaché à la série Men of War mais il devrait toutefois en partager de nombreuses caractéristiques.
