En avril 1994, le groupe est filmé et enregistré lors d'un concert au Hammersmith Odeon de Londres.

L'album sera publié en 1995: "Cross Purposes Live", produit par Black Sabbath.

Un flop attendu, pas de surprise ici.

Un album live pourtant bien troussé mais ne pouvant intéresser que les fanatiques qui veulent à tout prix posséder un live avec  Tony Martin au chant.

En juin, Rondinelli quitte Sabbath, remplacé par Bill Ward, mais une fois la tournée terminée, Geezer Butler et Bill Ward quittent le groupe à nouveau.

Iommi rappelle Neil Murray et Cozy Powell pour enregistrer ce qui sera le dernier album studio du Sabbat Noir.
