Antony And The Johnsons – Cut The World

Le groupe de psyché folk, Antony And The Johnsons, a sorti aujourd’hui un cinquième album, intitulé « Cut The World ».

L’album est composé de titres des précédents albums (« I am A Bird Now », « The Crying Light » ou « Swanlights ») en version symphonique live. Les titres ont été enregistrés l’année dernière à Copenhague avec The Danish National Chamber Orchestra. Tous les albums et EP du groupe sont passés en revue, du tout premier album Antony and the Johnsons qui date de 2000, au dernier album Swanlights qui date de 2010, en passant par un EP obscur datant de 2001, I Fell In Love With A Dead Boy EP.

Le single « Cut The World », dont on vous propose le clip, est le seul titre à être enregistré en studio. La chanson a été écrite spécifiquement pour mettre en musique la pièce de théâtre « The Life and Death of Marina Abramovic ».
