Christmas Woods Style

J’espère que vous avez tous fêté un excellent Noël. Moi j’en ai vraiment profité, mais j’aimerais que cela ne soit pas déjà fini…
Je suis allée à la campagne cette année, loin très loin de la ville, et c’était fantastique. Je suis allée me balader dans les bois en Bourgogne avant de commencer les festivités. J’en ai profité pour faire quelques photos, et essayer de faire quelque chose de nouveau. Je ne suis jamais vraiment à l’aise en face d’une caméra, donc l’exercice à été assez difficile pour moi! Sur la plupart des photos je fermais les yeux, et il fallait sans cesse recommencer et essayer de garder la même position malgré le froid cinglant. C’était quand même super sympa!

Après cette petite séance photo j’ai enfin commencé les festivités. Je pense que mon estomac n’a jamais été aussi satisfait auparavant. Nous avons dégusté mets sur mets, et verre de vin blanc sur verre de vin blanc. Le père noël a encore été trop généreux cette année.  Mais j’ai quand même hâte d’être à l’année prochaine pour pouvoir recommencer.

I hope that all of you had a delightful Christmas. I’ve enjoyed it as much as I could but I have to admit that I’m quite disappointed that it’s already over. Actually, If this wouldn’t be just about me, I would celebrate Christmas for a whole week.

This year I was in Bourgogne with my family, far away from the city. I had a few hours in front of me before starting to celebrate. So I wanted to try something new on my blog: like publishing a “style article”. This excercice was quite difficult to archieve. I’m very shy in front of the camera, and I blinked all the time. So I had to stay outside for a long time, fighting with the strong wind that blew into my face. But it was worth it, I had a really great time!

Then we started to celebrate. I must say that my belly has never felt so satisfied before. Each dish was better than the previous one. I still have the taste of the delicious Bûche au chocolat that we ate this lunch.

I’m looking forward to next year and celebrate again!.
