Like you must know now Asian cuisine is one of my favourites for many reasons, first of all because it's full of flavours but mostly because it's quite easy to realise and I know I always have something in my fridge to prepare a nice dish.Teriyaki is a Japanese sauce made with soy sauce, mirin and sake and it's ideal to marinate meat or fish that's why it's often used during American barbecues! In this recipe I decided not only to marinate my meat in Teriyaki sauce but also to glaze it so it can be tastier! Served with rice or noodles I just can't get enough!
Ingredients (for 2 persons):-2 chicken breasts-4 tablespoons of terriyaki sauce-2 teaspoons of sugar-2 teaspoons of freshly minced ginger-1/2 teaspoon of corn starch-1 tablespoon of golden sesame-1 tablespoon of corianderPrepare the marinade by mixing in a big bowl the terriyaki sauce, the sugar and the ginger. Cut the chicken breast in dices and put them in the bowl and stir until the marinade coats the meat, cover and let it marinate one hour, mixing frequently so that the marinade soaks into the chicken.Strain the meat and place it in a very hot pan, put the marinade aside. Brown the chicken until it's golden. Add the marinade with the corn starch diluted in a little bit of hot water. Stir to glaze the meat. Once it's cooked, serve right now and spring coriander and sesame.
