A few weeks ago, I presented to you chicken and ginger yakitori so now I
continue and present this time some beef and cheese yakitori which are a big
classic in Japanese restaurants. To be honest, at first I didn’t think it was a
really interesting dish until I had some really good one, indeed they were
really tasty thanks to a perfect seasoning and since then I really wanted to
make my own ones…
Ingredients (for 10 yakitori):
-15 slices of beef carpaccio
-1 Swiss cheese
-3 tablespoons of lime juice
-2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce
-2 tablespoons of soy sauce
-2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
-1 tablespoon of honey
Half an hour before the preparation, put the skewers in a bowl of cold
water then wipe them.
Preheat the oven the grill position.
Cut the cheese in 10 rectangles. Jap them lengthwise with the skewers
and “coat” them completely with one and a half slices of beef carpaccio.
Mix together the rest of the ingredients in a dish to make the marinade,
put the yakitori in and let them marinate 2 hours in the fridge.
Cook approximately 2 to 3 minutes on each side, the cheese must be just
a little melted.
Serve immediately.
