Don McLean, c'est 'American Pie' et une vingtaine d'albums de folk/americana brillants.

En 2015, quand tu entends 'Vincent', tu pleures encore.

Il a vieilli?

Il a encore des cheveux...il est plutôt bien conservé pour ses 70 balais.

Don est accompagné par un groupe de vieux requins de Nashville dont Tony Migliore ( piano) et le grisonnant Jerry Kroon (drums), un bassiste et deux guitares complètent le line-up.

La setlist parcourt toute la carrière du singer songwriter de New Rochelle qui y introduit quelques covers pas débiles, dont 'Little Sister' d'Elvis, un Buddy Holly ( 'Everyday'), 'Crying' de Roy Orbison et en rappel, 'Greenback Dollar' de Hoyt Axton.

D'autres temps forts: 'Castles in the air' , 'And I love you so', 'Crossroads' au piano.

Et 'Vincent'?
