Earth, Wind and Fire perd son co-fondateur.

Maurice White, co- fondateur du mythique groupe Earth, Wind & Fire s’en est allé hier soir, à l’âge de 74 ans. Son frère, Verdine White, annonçait la triste nouvelle, sur le compte Facebook du groupe, demandant de respecter, ce moment difficile pour la famille.

Earth, Wind and Fire, crée en 1969, à Chicago, a été l’un des pionniers pour faire tomber les tabous raciaux dans la pop, en devenant notamment la première formation de noirs à se produire à guichets fermés au prestigieux Madison Square Garden de New York en 1979.
Nous avons tous chanté et dansé sur les fameux titre ‘September », « Shining Star », « After the Love Has Gone », ou encore « Boogie Wonderland ». Cependant, j’aimerais rendre hommage avec ce titre « Pure Gold », sorti en 2005 dans l’album « Illumination ». Un album qui est un peu passé inaperçu mais qui contient de très belles chansons.

« Pure Gold », une chanson, pleine d’amour, d’espoir, un message positif mis en valeur par une musique et des voix au groove unique. Un album qui est un peu passé inaperçu mais qui contient de très belles chansons comme « Love’s Dance », « Lovely People », « Liberation » et  » This How I feel ».
