CoBrA faisait l’objet d’une vente de plusieurs lots chez Christie’s Amsterdam.

On y retrouve la plupart des grands noms de ce mouvement d’après la seconde guerre mondiale qui voulait échapper aux « ismes », ainsi qu’aux coercitions sociales et culturelles. Sont donc représentés : Karel Appel, Constant, Corneille, Asger Jörn, Alechinsky. Globalement les prix réalisés ont dépassé les estimations, mais dans des proportions modérées qui reflète bien les réserves des collectionneurs à l’égard d’une « École » pourtant déterminante quant aux avant-gardes, l’art moderne et contemporain.
