Emmy Nominations. Le meilleur de la télé

Les Emmy Awards sont des trophées américains qui récompensent chaque années les meilleures émissions et les meilleurs professionnels de la télévision. Trois organisations soeurs mais distinctes présentent les Emmy Awards:

L'Academy of Television Arts & Sciences honore les programme nationaux en prime time, sauf les programmes sportifs.

La National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences honore les programmes de la journée, les sports, les actualités et les documentaires;  L'International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences honore les programmes originaux hors des États-Unis.

Ils récompensent principalement des programmes et personnalités américaines (quelquefois britanniques), la majorité des programmes sur les télévisions américaines étant d'origine nationale. Seul les Emmy Award donnés par International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences honore des programmes non américains60th Primetime Emmy Awards.
Cette année le drame "Mad Men" récolte pas moins de 16 nominations, inclus Meilleur drame , meilleur acteur dans une série dramatique...alors que 30 Rock avec Alec baldwin a réussi a accrocher ....17 nominations. L'année dernière déjà, cette série avait rafflé les principaux prix...Quant à la meilleure série, le titre revient pour le moment, incontestablement à John Adams avec 23 nominations, dont deux pour Paul Giamatti et Laura Linley. La cérémonie de remises des trophées aura lieu le 21 septembre prochain et retransmis of course sur l'un des chaînes phares ABC. (Sources assciaited press en partie)
