Metallica entre au Panthéon du Rock

Le groupe Metallica sera intronisé au Rock and Roll Hall of Fame le 4 avril à Cleveland. Il y entrerera aux côtés de Jeff Beck et... Run-DMC (cherchez l'erreur). C'est le deuxième groupe hip-hop à être nommé au Panthéon du rock après Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five en 2007.
Excusez moi mais je ne vois plus trop l'intérêt d'appeler ça le Pantéhon du rock si des rappeurs y entrent. Si on continue comme ça bientôt on aura droit à Céline Dion et Disco Bitch (remarquez Madonna y est déjà) !
Les artistes nommés au rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Un comité de sélection composé d'historiens de la musique choisit des artistes pour cette catégorie. Par la suite, les choix sont votés par environ 1000 experts : universitaires, journalistes, producteurs et toute autre personne ayant une expérience de l'industrie de la musique. Pour être sélectionné, il faut recueillir au moins 50 % de votes. Chaque année, de cinq à sept sélectionnés sont retenus.
